E.O.F.T. 09/10 - White Dreams

You better warp up warm because a good deal of this program is freezing cold. Lots of snow and ice: an expedition to Baffin Island, Freeriding, Speedflying and Ice climbing. To keep you from freezing to you seats we've also put some warm ingredients in the program mix: Kajaking in Brazil, Climbing in Kyrgystan, a walking-tour through China and of course Mountainbiking!

The featured film of the program 09/10 is:

• Ausgesetzt (Exposed) – an extraordinary documentation about the Baffin-Island-Expedition of Stefan Glowazc and Robert Jasper. Both extreme climbers want to achieve a first ascent of an over 1.000 meters tall big wall on the „Querbitter Fjord“. In the almost vast land of Baffin Island this is a very demanding challenge.

Also :

• Reality Check – the portrait of Markus Bendler, an exceptional sports man. The ice climbing world champion 2009 has very unconventional training methods, but success speaks for itself.

• Kranked Revolve – an exclusive European premiere! The E.O.F.T. shows the latest mountainbike film of Radical Films. Downhill, freeride and dirt: varied mountainbike action, and amongst others nearly blind pro biker Bobby McMullen flys downhill.

• The Longest Way – a timelapse: one year in four minutes. Munich-based Christoph Rehage walked from Bejing to Ürümqi and documented his road trip in countless snaphots.

• Danny MacAskill - Urban Trial – the new star of the mountainbike trial community proves his talent on the streets of Edingburgh. Urban obstacles haven’t been attacked so slick for long!

• TEN – a cameramans tale – tells the world of skifilm from a cameramans perspective. Guido Perrini has been shooting skifilms for over ten years now and didn’t regret it for one day.

• Hotel Charley 4 – socking wet and record-breaking. Ben Stookesberrys latest film has both: cool Brasilian kajak flair and the breathtaking world record of Pedro Oliva. He managed to ride a 39 meters tall waterfall (Salto Bello Falls, Brasilia) – and stayed alive!

• Mammut Teamtrip: Kirgistan – looking for untouched climbing grounds the Mammut team leaves the beaten track and heads deep into Kyrgystan. A long journey which eventually pays off. After all the first Big Wall is waiting for climbing youngster David Lama.

• That’s it That’s all – the ultimate snowboard film. Shot in Alaska, the biggest adventure playground for snowboarders which scores with superfine powder, endless downhills and lots of fun – for pro boaders like Travis Rice and Jeremy Jones.
